Dhruva has over 30 years of experience in the Human Resource Management.
Dhruva has worked in the Corporate Sector for 25 years in a multi Country/region environment in diverse industries like Chemicals, Engineering, FMCG, Media, Mobile telephony, logistics and Pharmaceutical research.
Dhruva headed the HR function of large organizations like BPL Mobile (Bangalore), GAC(Dubai) ,BOC(Kolkata) and Aurigene Discovery (Bangalore). Significant initiatives during his stint in the HR function have been separately mentioned and annexed hereto.
Dhruva is currently, based at Bangalore as a freelance Consultant in areas of Executive Coaching, leadership and talent development, creating business systems and processes and conducting assessments and developments centres.
Dhruva is on the panel of assessors of a leading Consulting organization in the field of Talent Assessment & Development. As an assessor, he has been involved in assessing behaviours and creation of Individual Development plans(IDP’s) through “Development Centres” in leading Multinational Corporations at Sr. management level including at the level of CEO and CXO’s.
Besides, Dhruva facilitated various interventions as a free lance consultant; a notable one was to equip the hiring managers of a Swedish automobile major to identify the right set of values amongst prospective candidates. The processes involved identifying the Values at work through focussed group discussions (FGD) and train the hiring Managers of the Company to ask the relevant questions through the Behavioural Event Interviewing method which would provide data on demonstrated behaviour of the participant and help them to take the right decision. The project was spread over 3 months.
As a Credentialized Coach of ICF, has undertaken numerous one to one coaching assignments for Sr. Executives.
Dhruva is certified on various psychometric instruments like OPQ, Work place Big five & 15FQ+
