The Covid pandemic has rapidly accelerated the significance of hybrid working.

Most companies and leaders are revisiting the traditional office life and exploring new ways to incorporate an open hybrid work environment!

EY is the third of the UK’s Big Four accountants to embrace hybrid working after the pandemic.

From a team of around 17,500 workers in the UK, EY expects most of its staff to spend two days a week working from home.

Starting September 2021, EY will try to “test, refine and evolve its approach to ensure the hybrid working model meets the needs of its people, clients, and other stakeholders.”

Other major firms which have incorporated hybrid working model –

PWC asked its 22,000 employees in March to work from home for an average of 2-3 days a week post the end of the pandemic.
KPMG also issued instructions to its 16,000 staff to spend six days of every fortnight working from home.
